#FoodieFriDIY no. 61 Meals on the Go

Happy early weekend here you guys! I´m going to make this a short intro because I´ve got my boys playing Batman and Super Mario out in the yard and after picking our dinner greens I´m eager to spend at least 20 minutes with them playing before we get a bonfire going and have my brother over for an impromptu cookout.

Sounds like the last days of summer, am I right? And with that in mind…

This week my featured posts are all about being either easy to make when you have zero time, things that could be taken with you and reheated, or things you can grab as you dash out the door. A lot of you had sublime posts that seemed to gravitate around that theme this week – it´s easy to see that summer is coming to an end and people are getting back into their normal swing of things.

#FoodieFriDIY is a weekly food and craft link up party that starts on Thursday night and runs through Sunday at midnight. Join our weekend link party and gain exposure on Pinterest. Join our FB community. Everyone is welcome.

And finally, before I leave you with the link up, please take a quick peak at some of the (not so many) rules we have that help keep things running smoothly week after week:
1. Link up your favorite recipes and projects from your own blog. You may use round ups but please make sure they include links to recipes or tutorials. We would appreciate you linking up different posts week to week …we reserve the right to delete duplicates.
2. We think you are all awesome and love meeting new bloggers (and more awesome people) each week. We´d love if you spread the word about the party in some way, shape, or form!
3. We´re not a pushy group…no real requirements (except that you be a recipe or DIY blogger), but if you can, try to visit another link or two and leave a thoughtful comment. Give someone a shout out on social media. Use the hashtag #FoodieFridaysDIY…we’re trying to grow a community for all of us, and it’s always nice to make new friends.
4. If you’d like to include our button on your sidebar or your link party page, or even a link back on the individual post you linked up, we’d love it, but again, there is no requirement to do so.
5. We have a community on Facebook and we like to share! Let us know if you want to join in on the fun!
Happy pinning!
